Monday, June 26, 1865. Spent most of the A.M. writing. P.M went with W- & M to Campbell for Mrs Cole. Thence with Mr Miller to look at Albums. Evening Mr & Mrs Jones, Mrs Tyler son and daughter and Messrs W & S- spent the evening. Musical and entertaining. Have taken W- for a good friend and will do all in my power to bring about the consumation, so devoutly to be wished. Happy days.
