Saturday, July 1, 1865. Morning talking with Manda, later went with Manda to Alexandria and saw her established Came back by the long bridge with Miss Howe. Too tired in the evening to do anything. After a thorough bath retired feeling so grateful for the good news from home, and the blessings that crowd my path. Such a comfort to have Manda here.
