Thursday, July 6, 1865. Intended returning to Washington early but found Mandas room such a cozy interesting place that I could not tear myself away till nearly 3 o'clock. Soon after reaching our room had a call from John S.W. and I. Strawn. More than pleasant. Eve, with Miss F- & Mr H- went to Wesley Chapel to prayer meeting. It was truly a season of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.
