Friday, July 7, 1865. A.M. went with Mr H- to Finly, and talked half an hour with the ladies. Then a short call at Campbell. P.M. confess to the weakness of half an hours siesta. Letter from W has been hurt. Wrote one long letter to Jennie, saw Miss Cooley off and the afternoon was gone After tea went to the Avenue, then to Mrs Jones and spent a pleasant evening.
