Thursday, July 13, 1865. This day has been full of pleasant little incidents. Went early with Mrs W- to the 9th Corps - then to Mt Pleasant. With Miss F- to .500 and called on Mrs L- W- then. Soon after our return Mrs L- and W- [sr?] came and stayed till tea time. That exercise most pleasant. W- home with us. From W- [sr?] a beautiful copy of Jean Bigelow. Just what I wanted. A rich eve, with W and M - Engaged?
