Sunday, July 16, 1865. Arose with feelings of devotion, but so many of us here, and no time to read the Bible the day was not so pleasant as the former one. At class at Wesley Chapel, then to Alexandria. Found Manda & Mrs McQ- anxiously waiting for sympathy in their troubles. Sat long in the twilight talking of the days gone by. One week from now, will be with the loved ones at home, & yet tis sad to go.
