Saturday, July 29, 1865. Up early & got breakfast. Moped the kitchen & did the Sat' work. Then to town with Ma & made a number of purchases. P.M. called on Mrs Gibson & Mrs Williams came home with us. Mrs & Mollie R called. Later Mrs Briggs & Laura Evening spent as most of my eve's are writing letters to friends. Truly this has been a good week to me.
