Wednesday, August 9, 1865. Busy sewing most of the day. Jennie and Kellie went to the Asylum. Had a precious season of prayer & praise and reading the holy word. The days glide delightfully along, but I feel that I ought to be at work. Active Christian labor I must have. Eve' went with the girls to prayer meeting A pleasant & profitable season of communion with God. Letter from Dr B_
