Thursday, August 10, 1865. Three very pleasant letters this A.M. but none from Mattie. Tired out with ironing. Am having most signal answers to prayer. Too tired to attend Sister Hamlines meeting, and felt keenly the disappointment. But had a sanctuary in my room. Looking anxiously for Mandas coming. Kind Mary Burnell has not forgotten me, & gives evidence of her remembrance.
