Sunday August 27, 1865. Awoke with praise filling my heart. With Manda & Jennie 'tended church at Asbury & heard a good sermon from "God is a spirit P.M. spent reading the Beauty of Holiness and my Bible. Evening wrote a home letter to Father. This has been one of those quiet lovely Sabbaths that used so much to enjoy. Now they come to me again filled with blessings.
