Friday, September 1, 1865. Not in a mood for it but worked as hard today as yesterday, and made myself very tired by going downtown. We are a most happy family. God grant that we may long remain so! This is my birth-month may it indeed be one of profit temporaly & spiritually. We are having hard work but will soon be ready for Conference.
