Monday, September 4, 1865. Up before 5 and at work. Washing done in good time. Mr B called to say good-by before going to B-. Gave me a lamp mat as a trophy from the Fair. The long desired end reached and the last of the carpet sewing done. For which I am devoutly thankful. All out of sorts when I think how the time is going and I am reading nothing. Hope to do better.
