Wednesday, September 6, 1865. While we were busy ironing Mr B- came from Burlington. Had to talk with him some time. Then hard at work till after dinner. With Mr. B- and Jennie had a fine drive to the Asylum. View from the cupola very fine. Company kept me from prayer-meeting again. Good talk with Mollie K- and a little letter from Mrs W-. Will be very happy when this affair is all over & Mr B- gone.
