Saturday, September 9, 1865. After breakfast went with Lizzie to the Church, thence to see Milton & Tillie. Call pleasant. Did some shopping and then to Miss Dees to dinner. Then to Mr Darwins office for my basket, found we had to wait till 4 P.M. for the trains to leave. Spent the time in the depot reading the Atlantic. Met Mr S- at the depot in Mt P- kindly walked part of the way home with me Reading all the eve. Precious season of prayer!!
