Wednesday, September 13, 1865. Manda and Ma went shopping & I did the morning work. While getting dinner Manda read me "Mills" article on the "Enfranchisement of Women" and it was received with great applause. P.M busy sewing and writing letters. Read my chapters and enjoyed a precious season of prayer. Clouds clearing away again. O, Concert very fine.
