Sunday, September 17, 1865. Had such a strange dream last night. Strange that what I cannot have in life waking should come to me in dreams. It has gone through the day with me with strange sweetness. Attended S School church & class. Stayed with Charlie while the rest of the family went to leacture. With Ma went to see Milton Found him very feeble, but cheerful as usual, a beautiful expression in his eyes
