Sunday, September 24, 1865. Something of an annoyance occured this A. M and I did not go to S.S- Bro Vernon preached a fine sermon. P.M. Prof B an excellent leacture. Class very good. Bro W walked home with me & we had a pleasant talk. Only about half an hour for reading my Bible Went to church but the sermon was miserable, and any devotional feelings almost impossible
