Monday, September 25, 1865. Very busy getting the washing out & house in order. Not a moment for reading or thought. P.M to Mrs Fuller sewing on the machine. Eve' Jennie read Literature to us. After we had gone to our room Bro Williams brot' "our preacher - Bro Lucas. The girls made it my duty to entertain him. My descision is that he above the ordinary standard of our preachers.
