Wednesday, September 27, 1865. Good letters this week from Mattie & Bro Joe" but no time to reply. Conf' opened today. Stayed at home and got dinner. P.M so tired I had to go to bed. Did a little sewing & much laughing at Manda with Cirus. Pleasant walk to & from church in the moonlight with Bro L- Speeches by Messrs Evans & Cook interesting Bro W- made us happy by his presence.
