Saturday, September 30, 1865. Manda and I went to the Conference room for a while. Mr. S- came & talked with us - then Bro L- & lastly Sec' Harlan shook hands and talked a moment. On the street saw John Woolson, Lou' Power & Mr Hackworth Seemed like school days again. Eve' while reading a letter from "Bro Joe" in walked Mrs Wittenmyer and we were happy. [Livvy] & Fannie called, & so I missed a ride.
