Sunday, October 1, 1865. Have not been in bed till mid-night for so long that I was too dull to go to hear the Bishop this A.M. P.M listened to a touching sermon by Dr Trimble on the sufferings of our blessed Savior. Few in the house that did not weep. Evening a sermon by Dr [Winsor] of the church extension Svc'. Disposed of Mr S- and had the pleasure of a nice walk home with Mr L-
