Saturday, October 7, 1865. One of the most comfortable days I have enjoyed for sometime. Not enough to do to keep us drudging, & had time for reading and writing. Helped M sew for about one hour & had most of the rest of the day to myself. How happy I would be if we had more such days. Mr W- called in the evening. Enjoyed the students prayer-meeting much. Letters from Dr B-.
