Sunday, October 15, 1865. Not well enough to go to church today. Spent the morning reading the Bible and Beauty of Holiness. Had dinner ready when they came from church. P.M Jennie read to me most of afternoon while I lay comfortably on the lounge. Too tired to move. After tea all went to church and Manda stayed with me and read from the Atlantic [a] fine article.
