Saturday, October 21, 1865. Went with Jennie to chapel and that employed most of the A.M. Mr Paudys child died and Ma was there most of the day. Spent most of the P.M in my room writing the doc' for publication. Eve' called on the bereaved. Then to student prayer-meeting & it was very good. Home & wrote till very late. Laura- Manda & Jennie with the gentlemen had a [fine sing].
