Sunday, October 29, 1865. A day of peaceful trust in God. Talked with Tillie until they were all gone to church & then went to Mrs Darwins. Felt inspired with the view of the river from both hills. Mrs D- alone & we had a good talk After dinner came back to Mr Werles. Delightful talk with Tillie. Stayed from church and read to M- and enjoyed it a world more than I should have done the service.
