Saturday, November 4, 1865. I didnt know three days teaching could so effectually use me up. Very sick all day. Throat worse, and head nearly bursting. Lay on the lounge all the P.M too sick to keep my eyes open. Could hardly keep back the tears when Mr W- came & didnt bring me any letter from home Am glad that I have such peace in believing & very precious it is.
