Saturday, November 11, 1865. Packed Mandas trunk before the first bell rang Went with Jennie to Chapel. Declaimation very good. Called on Mrs W- Hattie B-, Mrs Fuller &c. Took a pleasant leave of the home folks & by two was off for B- again. Trip down rather dull talking with Bro B-k. Was talking with M- when Manda came for me. Got to Mr D-s in time for the historical reading which proved very interesting. Everything is pleasant. here.
