Thursday, November 16, 1865. In a fever of expectation from what Dr C- said, but nothing came of it. A.M very nice, but the children noisey in the afternoon Call from Mr McK- When school was out hardly dared venture into M-s room after the freak of last night. But all went merrily & we had on the whole a most pleasant evening. Day by day the precious Bible is my delight, and I grow stronger in prayer.
