Friday, November 17, 1865. A bright morning again Went to school with a light heart, & felt myself to be mistress there. P.M passed just as pleasantly. Talked a few moments with M- and then joined Ella & Manda at the Telegraph Office. Found Mrs D- waiting for us. A most delightful evening in the Library reading McCauleys England, talking, & sewing. After the girls were gone to bed had a good talk with dear Mrs D-
