Thursday, November 23, 1865. Such a lovely day! The children unusually good and school pleasant. Heart glowing with love & thankfulness ail day. O! the wonderful goodness & love of God! With Tillie called on Mrs [Hare]. Then home and a very pleasant evening in M-s room. The more I think of going to Davenport, the more impossible it seems. Wrote a letter to Father, but cant get at that writing for A.P. Wood. Must this week.
