Monday, November 27, 1865. Not up early enough to do anything before school. The world so bright outside that I could not be otherwise than bright in the school-room. A.M Genl' Lauma called at the school room, & while he & Mr Dr Hass were out had hard work keeping order, but succeeded by sending two boys home. Eve' went down town & did some shopping. Then home & did nothing all the evening but make tatting. Letter from Father. Enjoyed my chapters & season of prayer at [noon]
