Wednesday, December 6, 1865. O! such a hard day in school. I wonder how much longer I can endure this. It seems now that I will have to give up before another week. Stormy today but for all the trouble I had, came sweet compensation in the heavenly presence. So thankful that I can rest tomorrow. Anything in the way of work would be easier than this school drudgery, & yet I am glad to be able to do it.
