Friday, December 8, 1865. Just up in time for school, & had another hard day. Felt almost in despair of even governing the school. Did some shopping in the evening. Too tired to read or write or anything else. I look up for deliverence and it has never failed me in the past. May it come soon. It is indeed precious to feel that Jesus is a sympathizing friend & knows all our cares.
