Sunday, December 10, 1865. One of the most precious days I have known for months. Jesus seemed very near and all the ordinancs of the church were unusualy blest to me. Sermon good, class better, but the Bible best of all. Eve reading a book about.a good successful teacher. Never prayed more fervently for grace for the duties of another week. I that I could keep these religious hights I sometimes gain.
