Sunday, December 24, 1865. Did not go to church in the A.M but read to Mother & Charlie. P.M. heard a very good leacture on the resurection by Rev P. P. I. Enjoyed the student class very much. Called on Mrs Fuller & stayed an hour or more. While all the family went to church I stayed with Charlie & read to him. It has been precious to trust in the atoneing blood all day. A lovely day, bright & warm.
