Friday May 16th 1924 I wrote to Lydia and Mrs Patterson in forenoon. Hattie had Mrs Biening, Mrs McClintock and Fannie here for lunch. Cora to store later. Hattie went to a tea. I worked all afternoon and evening looking over old papers. Saturday May 17th 1924 We went to the cemetery before noon. I finished and packed bag of beads for Louise Pickens and wrote her a letter. Hattie, Cora and I went to a picture show. Hattie went on to a party and I came home with Cora. It rained early in the evening. The furniture being fixed brought home. Sunday May 18th 1924 Hattie & I went to S S & Church with Ott. Soon after dinner Rob took us for a ride in a new car that he has looked at. Home rest of PM. Evening with Hattie at Otts. Monday May 19th 1924 I went to town in AM to have eyes treated. Rode home with Ott. Hattie & Cora to luncheon and Hattie to club meeting later. I looked over papers. Mrs Nipher and daughter here for supper. Cora took us a ride, left them at station. Later a picture show. Tuesday May 20th 1924 Hattie & I both home all day. Ott out of town. Fannie went with us to take Cora to West Liberty to go to Minneapolis. Wednesday May 21st 1924 Rob out of town. Ruby Falk took dinner with Hattie and me.
