Good Grandma's Raised Loaf Cake at night. Makes 3 large loaves 1 cup lard 1 " sugar 2 egg & salt 2 cups milk 1 cup of yeast (sponge) In morning when above is very light add 2 cups of sugar 1 cup butter & 2 eggs 1 pound raisins - citron Put in pans & keep warm & let rise & then bake rather slowly.
