Mrs McMorris Potato Puffs. 1 cup mashed potatoes 1 egg 1 teaspoon baking powder Flour enough to stiffen Fry in hot lard Cut out with baking powder box top or drop from teaspoon When making a meringue add a little cold water This will greatly increase the quantity It is to be added before the eggs are whipped, of course When, it is ready to put on the pie, add a saltspoon of baking powder and beat well. This will prevent its falling after being taken from the oven, and it will not be apt to shrink from the edges
