Alveria's Dutch Bread good Almost a yeast cake made into a sponge or nearly 3/4 can pressed yeast cake 1 large qt flour 2 eggs 2 tablespoons butter 1 pt (large) milk 2 cups (small) sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon & nutmeg lemon extract rasins. - salt beat well - stand over night How to Freshen Furs. Furs when taken out in the fall are often found to have a mussed, crushed-out appearance. They can be made to look like new by following these simple directions: Wet the fur with a clean hair-brush, brushing up the wrong way of the fur, leave it to dry about half an hour in the air, and then beat it with a rattan on the right side. After beating it, comb it with a coarse comb, combing up the right of the fur.
