Bristol Alverna's Dumplings for apple etc. 1 heaping cup flour 1 heaping teaspoon Baking Powder 14/ teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon butter Rub butter into flour & baking powder. Wet up with milk keep rather soft and pat out do not roll out. Serve with sauce Meat Dumplings made sauce with very little shortening.
