14 Sunday February 27th 1916 It was quiet but very cold. We did not have breakfast till nine o clock. Rob came out to eat with us. I wrote letters what spare time I had for the day. I took them over to Jones to send down town and read all the evening Monday February 28th 1916 I did some sewing and finished a pair of mittens for Will. There was quite a bit of house work to do. read in eve. Tuesday February 29th 1916 It was bright but cold. We washed and the clothes got dry. I sewed some in afternoon. Will down town awhile Wednesday March 1st 1916 It snowed most of the day. I got my ironing done and did mending in afternoon. I read in the evening Thursday March 2nd 1916 I wrote to Lydia and got other mail ready in forenoon. After lunch early I went down at 12.15; I was at Fannie and Coras and called on Mrs Gibbs at the old house to see the twin boys. I went up town and got a basket of things. Home at 5.30. Will met me at the crossing Glen Robinson died at noon today. Lee 15 years today. Friday March 3rd 1916 It was a very cold day. I did some baking and gave the house a going over. I wrote Hattie and had a letter from her. I sewed in afternoon and read in the evening.
