Friday March 10th 1916 It was colder today again. I was busy all forenoon sweeping up stairs. I went over to Mrs. Jones in afternoon. In the evening went with Tishie and Eloise to the Armory to watch the dancing at the Junior Promenade. Will cut wood in forenoon and was too tired to go. Saturday March 11th 1916 I did some baking in forenoon and Will and I both went down at 1.15. I took a plant to Mrs. Gibbs at the old house. Was at Fannie's and Cora's and went to town with them in the car to come home at 4.30. Read all evening. Sunday March 12th 1916 I was wretchedly sick all day. Did not go to church of course although it was the warmest day this spring. I read and did the necessary work. Went to bed early Monday March 13th 1916 I felt much better. Will helped me work and I dd some cleaning about the house and ironed in the afternoon. Spent the evening with Mrs. Robinson she is home. I had a letter from Hattie and Cousin Jen. Tuesday March 14th 1916 I was busy about the work all forenoon. I went to town in afternoon. Got a hat trimmed and attended to some other errands. Weather not quite as pleasant as yesterday. I wrote the Masons in the evening and enclosed other letters and did up some papers to send them.
