Thursday May 25th 1916 I washed some stocking ec this morning and did some baking. I went to town in afternoon for an hour. Did mending and wrote in diary. Evening on the porch. very warm. Friday May 26th 1916 Will helped me wash. The clothes got dry so I ironed them in the afternoon. A terrible rain jist started before night. I am very tired. I read all evening.
