Thursday November 9th 1916 Weather pleasanter. I kept on with the house cleaning. Will took screens out and helped in forenoon. [deleted text: He was to Dentist in afternoon] I finished things up in good shape. Ott walked up tonight. he is nicely elected to the Senate. Friday November 10th 1916 I did a lot of baking and got up a good diner. The folks with Mrs Dow were out for the day. Will was at the dentists all forenoon. I made tatting my spare time. Saturday November 11th 1916 Will went to town at 8:15 and Leslie finished his dentist work. I fixed my green silk dress that I got a spot on in Seattle. I went down to fannies at 4:15. She had a little party for Mrs Dow. I did not get home till 9:50. weather chill. Sunday November 12th 1916 It was tow months today since we started west. It was a threatening looking morning bit I went to church. It sleeted in afternoon. I wrote letters to Nellie Burwell, Millie Byington, Maurice Culbertson, Henry Flint, & Lizzie Lindley. Monday November 13th 1916 It was a fearful cold day. Will went down to the store [deleted text: dentists] in afternoon. I worked on my tatting when not busy with the meals. Tuesday November 14th 1916 Weather a little better. I was busy all forenoon. I got dinner so I went down at 12:15. Did a lot of errands. went to a picture show of "Romeo & Juliet." They up to Mrs Emmons to see about my dress. Made tatting in the evening.
