Wednesday November 15th 1916 Busy all forenoon with housework. Went down at 1:15 to Leslie's office. he took an impression for both plates to make me teeth. Did shopping and went up to Mrs Emmons was there so late I did not get home till 5:40. Letter from Lydia. Thursday November 16th 1916 Did a little sewing in forenoon and down town in the afternoon ad out to Mrs Emmons. She took the last fitting on my green dress. Did not got home till 5:40 made tatting in evening. Friday November 17th 1916 I did some baking in forenoon. I went down at 2:15 to attend the Home Missions society at Mrs Worsams and later up to Mrs Lovell Swishers where she and Mrs Smith had a large reception. Hattie was there but the other girls were not. I came down with Hattie on the car. Home at 6:30. Saturday November 18th 1916 I did a little sewing in forenoon and Will & I both went to town at 1:15. I was up at Leslies for nearly two hours. I then went tip to the cemetery for an hour and back to Mrs Emmons for my green dress. She charge me $4.00 for making. I came home at 5:30. Hattie went to Davenport with Paul. Sunday November 19th 1916 It was a beautiful day. I had so much to do I did not try to go to church. I wrote a letter after dinner and went down to 3:15. Hattie and Paul Helmich had jist got home from Davenport in his car and we went to vespers together to hear Mary Antin lecture. Home at 5: 30. I read most of the evening.
