Saturday November 25th 1916 I was busy with the house work most of the forenoon. I took a few finishing stitches on my dress so I wore it to town in afternoon. It was Home Coming day and the last football game of the eason. There was a big crowd in town. I came home at 4:30. Wrote Lyida & Ida in the evening. Sunday It was a fairly nice day. Will & I went to church and walked over to Otts. Will & Emily Bremmer were there. We had such a good visit. We rode home with the Jones in their new Auto. I did up 5 of Otts pictures in the evening and wrote to Sue & Sallie, Alice Siebert, Art Robinson, Mrs Brown and Maurice Culbertson. Monday November 27th 1916 I washed some in the morning and went to town at 1:15. Did some errands. Got to Mrs Smith. I stopped at Leslie's office and got my teeth. They were $50.00. I was over to Aunt Emmas to see The Wedding presents. very beautiful. Tuesday November 28th 1916 I ironed and did housework all forenoon. I walked up to see Mrs Dennis. She had come down to Mrs Millers. I stopped there till supper time. A perfectly beautiful day. Wednesday November 29th 1916 I went down to Hattie's for the day. Will stayed to split thje wood he had sawed yesterday. The Whetstones went to Cedar Rapids to meet Cora. I rode to town with them. Leslie worked nearly two hours polishing and fitting my teeth. The car was late Will had supper when I got there.
