Wednesday December 6th 1916 I ironed this morning. Jist was I finished the folks brought Hattie out for the day. Rob came for her after nine oclock. I began a gingham dress for myself. Thursday December 7th 1916 I sewed all day on my dress. I had a letter from Lizzie Duncan. She has been very sick. good weather. Friday December 8th 1916 I got a little time to sew. Had a letter from Lizzie Lindley at Hollywood. I went down town at 1:15. Did a lot of errands and out to Mrs Swishers to a little party. Came down to the M E Bazaar a little while and home at 6:30. A busy day. Did fancy work all evening. Saturday December 9th 1916 I was busy sewing every minutes when not busy with the housework . Will to town in afternoon. It is 18 years today since Edith died. I had such a good letter from Lydia. Sunday December 10th 1916 Will and I were both busy all forenoon with things we wanted arranged before us went away. In afternoon wrote Ida and The Lewis at Centralia Washington I read history all evening. It was a nice day. Monday December 11th 1916 I sewed some in the morning. Went down at 1:15 Did errands and was up to Mrs Emmons she has begun work on my blue dress. I got home at 4:30. Did some work in the kitchen and did fancy work in the evening.
