Tuesday March 6th 1917 We were home all day. I worked on my spread and Mrs Falk began one like it. Read some in evening. Wednesday March 7th 1917 We both went down town with The Falks. I called at Mrs Bunns and Will & I were at Loves and Abbotts. We got our dinner at The Greeks and rode part way out in the Daytona [Bas?] and walked the rest of the way. I got our supper the others did not come till bed-time. Thursday March 8th 1917 I was home all day. It was quite warm. Mrs Falk had company. I had a letter from Ida & Hattie. I wrote both of them in the evening. We will stop at Ida's. Friday March 9th 1917 I was busy most of the forenoon and after dinner packed the trunk. It was two years yesterday since I got back from Florida before. Mrs Falk and I visited till supper time. We all went down town in the evening to a picture show. Saturday March 10th 1917 I did a little more packing. Mr Falk took the trunk down. I was up to Taylors for a call. I wrote some letters in afternoon. We all went down town in the evening. weather like summer. Sunday March 11th 1917 We got ready to go in when The Falks went to services. They left is at the depot. It was very warm going to Jacksonville. We met a Mr & Mrs Taylor from Chapin, Ill. We all went up to our old boarding place for supper. We called in The Rodgers girls. We left at 8:30. The Pullman car was not crowded at all.
