Wednesday March 28th 1917 Will helped me work some in the forenoon. I went to town in afternoon and went to a show to see "The Scarlet Letter." Then up to Mrs Griffins to leave the pillow cases. I walked over the new bridge to Hatties. come home at 6:30 wrote Lydia Bro lee's birthday. Thursday March 29th 1917 I was at home all day. I did a little sewing and pressed some of my clothes after I had ironed. I still had some time to work on my bed-spread. Friday March 30th 1917 I went down early to see about getting my new hat changed some. I did not get through till nearly nine. Ott is here and I rode over to Hatties to dinner with him and Rob. I came home at 4:30. Got the supper and did some cooking for Will while I am away. Did some packing. Saturday March 31st 1917 I did up the morning work and finished packing. Will could not go down town with me as the man was coming out with some windows that had been fixed. I had a very pleasant little trip to Delavan. Jim met me and I spent the evening visiting with the folks. Sunday April 1st 1917 It rained most of the day. Laura went to church any way. we jist put in the day and till early bed-time visiting. I read the papers some. There was no one in all day. I telephone Lizzie Duncan and Frank Woolfs folks.
