Tuesday November 6th 1917 Hattie went to Helen Whinneys to an all day sew. I went over for a treatment and later to Otts office Will was there and we expected Henry Schnore and wife to make out papers to sell the west farm. They did not come. I rode home with Ott. Hattie was already there. Rob & Cora got away all right at 4:30. Wednesday November 7th 1917 We were busy all forenoon with the dinner. The folks from the other house was up. They went home about three oclock and Hattie and I walked over to Mrs Thomas's for a little party. Ott called me to the office to meet those people but we did not come to an understanding. I rode home with Ott. Thursday November 8th 1917 I worked at my bureau cover in forenoon. Hattie went to Red Cross rooms in afternoon. I walked out to see The Folsoms new house and made a visit at Mary Woolfs. We spent the evening at home. Friday November 9th 1917 I am working on the bureau cover for Hattie. I finished it after dinner and put it on the old bureau that was Mothers she brought from Ohio. Hattie has it in the bath room. Word from Rob & Cora tell they are enjoying their trip. Hattie to P E O meeting in afternoon. I walked to town late in afternoon. Called at Otts on way back. Evening at home.
